Peter Hurrell is the Franchisee for Jim's Mowing Blairgowrie and works with his wife Kathy. Together they provide a service to clients in Blairgowrie, Alyth, Meigle, Coupar Angus, Burrelton, Collace, Balbeggie, Scone, Perth, Kinnaird, St Madoes, Meikleour and Spittalfield.

Peter and Kathy are ex-Zimbabwean, farming there for 30 years. They have lived in Scotland for 6 years, three of which were farming strawberries in Blairgowrie and three years gardening as Jim's Mowing Blairgowrie. Peter brings his years of experience as a horticultural farmer to the business and love for working out doors. Kathy as a farmer’s wife is very practical and supports as well as compliments Peter in his work as Jim's Mowing Blairgowrie, she also brings her skills with bookkeeping to the business. Various trainings at Hadlow College and Australia plus skills and certificates from Horticultural farming have assisted Peter to do what he enjoys most, garden maintenance.

These tasks includes edging and mowing lawns, scarifying and lawn treatments, hedge trimming and pruning, small turfing jobs, re-seeding and planting, gardening, garden clean-ups, rubbish removal, odd jobs and power washing patios and drive ways.

Dear Kathy and Peter

Have finally got around to dropping you a note to thank you for coming last Thursday and sprucing up the garden for our wedding visitors at the weekend. As you predicted the weather was dreadful on Friday, so it was very thoughtful of you to come on the Thursday and spend a bit longer to get the job done.

In contrast we had a beautiful day on Saturday, and the wedding was a joyous occasion from beginning to end, with all arrangements going to plan! They had the wedding photos in the Rodney Gardens and the autumn colours captured are stunning [as are the wedding party of course!].
